DMS Electrical Contracting Group
That one review praises the friendly service and says the prices are reasonable, with the customer finding them always easy to deal with. What that tells you is the basics are likely in place for smaller local jobs, but there's no deeper track record to judge yet. Four years in business suggests they've been doing something right, though this is still a small footprint. For anything beyond a simple repair or installation, ask for evidence of recent similar work and confirm licensing and insurance directly.

About DMS Electrical Contracting Group
A one-man electrical outfit in Sebastopol where the owner is the person who shows up, quotes, and does the work. Reviews point to straightforward pricing and a bloke who is easy to deal with, which matters when you are organising power, lighting, or repairs around a family schedule. The business covers general electrical work for local homes, though the single review doesn't spell out a speciality like solar or data cabling. Being a sole trader means you'll likely speak to the same person from first call to final invoice, which suits smaller jobs and repeat maintenance. The trade licence and insurance status are not shown here, so confirm those before any major switchboard or rewiring work. For simple repairs, new power points, or a ceiling fan swap, this is the kind of local option worth a call. Ask about their availability window, because one-person operations can book out quickly in summer storm season. The value is likely in the owner being reachable and the price staying close to what was first discussed.
Best for straightforward electrical repairs, new power points, and small household jobs where you want a local owner on the tools.

What areas does DMS Electrical Contracting Group cover?+
They are listed in Sebastopol, VIC, so local Ballarat region work is the likely patch. Reviews don't specify exact suburbs, so confirm the coverage area before booking.
How does their pricing work?+
One review says the prices are reasonable, but there are no detailed quotes to go on. Ask for a written quote before the job starts, especially for anything beyond a small repair.
Is DMS available for emergency callouts?+
No review mentions emergency or after-hours work, so this is not confirmed. Call them directly and ask whether they take urgent jobs and what the callout fee is.
