Pianto Geoff & Gail
Geoff gets specific praise for being easy to deal with and offering standout value on price.
That review is positive and mentions Geoff by name, plus value for money and an easy personality. It's enough to suggest a friendly local builder, but nowhere near enough to prove consistent bathroom reno quality. Ask to see recent project photos and ideally a finished job you can inspect. Confirm the timeline, who does the plumbing and waterproofing, and whether Geoff is on site most days.

About Pianto Geoff & Gail
Geoff and Gail run this as a small two-person operation, which usually means you deal with the same people from quote to handover. The one review we could read praises Geoff for being easy to work with and fairly priced. That's thin, but it matches what you want from a sole trader doing bathroom work. Bathroom renovations are their stated specialty, though the Google listing also mentions general contracting and home goods. For a local homeowner this likely means they can coordinate the fiddly bits beyond tiling and waterproofing. Seven years of trading suggests they have enough local history to know East Bendigo homes. You'd want to ask directly about their usual project size and who actually does the plumbing and electrical work. This is a business to meet in person and see recent finished bathrooms before booking.
Best for: small bathroom renos in East Bendigo where you want a local personable builder, straightforward quotes, and direct contact with the owner.
