Border Building Solutions
Wayne fixed timber rot properly and explained the cause, not just covered it up.
What comes through clearly is Wayne explaining the actual cause and fixing things properly, especially timber rot that blends back in. Two customers had spent time on repeat repairs that never held until Wayne got involved. Everyone mentions reliability, communication, and turning up when he says he will. That's a solid pattern across the sample, but with only 5 reviews you'd want to confirm scope and timing for your own job before booking.

About Border Building Solutions
Wayne runs this as a hands-on fixing business, not a quick patch-up service. Two reviewers specifically mention timber rot repair, so that's clearly a strong suit. Several customers had ongoing issues that other trades never properly sorted before Wayne got involved. He explains the cause in plain English, which comes up repeatedly. His work style is punctual, honest, and keeps you informed so there are no surprises. One reviewer said he treats the property like it's his own. This is a property repair and maintenance specialist rather than a big renovation crew. If you want a proper diagnosis followed by a solid fix, this looks like the bloke to call.
Best for timber rot repairs, fixing maintenance issues that other trades haven't permanently solved, and general handyman work around older North Albury homes.
