Peards Garden World
Staff who actually know their plants and a range covering productive and ornamental gardens.
What little signal exists points to a friendly, well-stocked garden centre with staff who can actually answer questions. Not enough reviews to judge consistency or compare staff members. One customer warned off the Palmetto Buffalo turf, so double-check your supplier if you are buying grass. Treat this as a first look rather than proof of anything.

About Peards Garden World
The garden and hardware side of Peards is where reviewers keep landing: edible seedlings, productive plants, and ornamentals all in one spot. It's a proper retail nursery rather than a landscaping contractor. Staff knowledge comes up in every review, usually unprompted. The Albury location has been trading for roughly 25 years under the same name. One reviewer did flag the Palmetto Buffalo grass as weedy, so ask about turf suppliers before you buy. For everyday garden supplies, seedlings, and plant advice, this is a sensible first stop.
Best for: everyday garden supplies, seedlings and edible plants, and getting plant advice from experienced local staff.

What do customers say about Peards Garden World's staff?+
Every review we read mentioned the staff being friendly and knowledgeable. One reviewer specifically praised them for knowing their products well. With only a handful of reviews, that is still the strongest signal.
Does Peards Garden World stock edible and productive plants?+
Yes. One reviewer mentioned productive garden plants alongside ornamentals. They sell seedlings, which points to a decent kitchen garden range.
Is the Palmetto Buffalo grass any good?+
One reviewer said to avoid it, saying it was full of weeds. That is a single opinion, so ask the staff about their turf supplier and any weed guarantees before buying.
How long has Peards Garden World been in Albury?+
The business has been active for roughly 25 years. That suggests local relationships with suppliers and a stable customer base, though the review history is short.
