CQ Plumbing & Civil
Chris turns up when he says he will and has customers asking for him by name.
Nearly every review names Chris, which is a good sign for a small plumbing outfit. Customers keep saying he turns up when he says he will and the price matches the quote. A few people specifically mention after-hours and emergency callouts, including one who got help without any drama. There's also a full bathroom renovation and a natural gas point install in there, so it's not just leak-fixing. You'd want to confirm Chris is actually the one coming out if that matters to you.

About CQ Plumbing & Civil
This is a small outfit run by Chris, and the reviews suggest he's the one turning up for most jobs personally. The team gets praised for working at odd hours without any drama. Several customers mention they do the whole bathroom fit-out, not just the tap-and-toilet stuff. One reviewer had a natural gas point installed for a BBQ, so they handle gas work too. People keep mentioning that the price matches the initial quote, which is worth knowing if you've been stung by quote creep before. Chris apparently explains things in a way that makes plumbing make sense. They're local to Ballarat East, and the emergency callout praise suggests they cover urgent jobs in that area.
Best for: after-hours emergency callouts, full bathroom renovations, and homeowners who want a plumber who explains what's actually wrong in plain English.

Does CQ Plumbing do emergency callouts?+
Yes. One reviewer specifically mentioned an emergency callout, and another said there's no such thing as too late in the evening or too early in the morning for Chris and his team. If you need urgent work, it's worth calling and asking about availability.
Who will actually turn up to do my plumbing job?+
Most reviews name Chris directly, and a few mention 'the team' or 'the boys' working with him. The consistency suggests Chris is on the tools for a lot of the work, but it's worth confirming who you'll get when you book.
Does CQ Plumbing handle bigger jobs like renovations?+
Yes. One customer had their entire bathroom fit-out completed by CQ Plumbing and called the quality of the work outstanding. They also installed a natural gas point for a BBQ, so they're comfortable with more than just quick fixes.
What do customers say about their pricing?+
One customer said the price has always matched the provided quote across several jobs. Another mentioned transparent pricing on a gas point install. That's decent reassurance, but you should always confirm the quote in writing before work starts.
Are they reliable about turning up on time?+
Multiple reviews mention they arrived on time or were always there when they said they'd be. For a small local plumbing business, that punctuality is one of the things customers seem to notice most.
