Heffernan Electrical Automation
Jesse installs solar and smart home gear so neatly another installer called it the best battery job they had seen.
The strongest signal is finish quality. Homeowners repeatedly say the work looks clean, whether that is a battery install, CCTV run, chandelier or ceiling fans. Jesse also earns name specific praise for turning a half day battery job into two days when a switchboard with mice bones inside forced a full rewire. That suggests he will flag problems rather than cut corners. One review does read oddly, where a customer says they touched a live wire and lost their hand, but nothing else in the sample links that to the work done here. Ask about the response time for urgent electrical jobs, since the sample does not tell you much there. For solar batteries and smart home gear, these reviews point the right direction.

About Heffernan Electrical Automation
Jesse is a sole trader electrician who does solar batteries, smart home gear and CCTV, not just power points. The reviews that go into detail are the useful ones. One mentions a battery install where another senior installer called it the best they had seen. Another describes a half day battery job that became two days because the old switchboard had mice bones in it and needed rewiring. He painted the cement sheet on that job so the enclosure matched the house. Reviews pair Jesse with Alexis on one job, where both kept the customer updated as things progressed. The work covers lights, ceiling fans, switchboards, CCTV and voice controlled smart home gear. Homeowners after tidy finish work and clear communication will find the right fit here. The sample is small, but every review that says anything says the work was clean.
Best for: solar battery installs, smart home and CCTV setups, and full switchboard rewires where existing wiring is past its best.

Does Heffernan Electrical Automation do solar battery installs?+
Yes. Reviews mention a detailed battery install at Huntly where Jesse rewired an old switchboard and painted the cement sheet to match the house. The business also advertises free consults for solar and battery projects.
Who will turn up for the job?+
Jesse is the main electrician mentioned in reviews. One review also names Alexis, who helped with communication and stayed in touch during the install. For bigger jobs, ask who will be on site.
Do they install smart home gear or just standard electrical?+
A review describes updating switches, downlights and CCTV, then setting up voice controlled lights, ceiling fans, TV and speakers. So smart home automation appears to be a core part of the work.
Are they good with older or messy switchboards?+
One battery review says Jesse found mice bones in an old switchboard and completely rewired it rather than working around it. That suggests he will stop and flag unsafe work instead of just patching it.
Can they do urgent electrical work?+
The reviews are mostly planned installs and upgrades. Urgent or same day work is not mentioned often, so confirm response times directly before relying on them for emergencies.
