Mission demolition and asbestos pty ltd
★ FeaturedTarek handles the SafeWork paperwork himself and issues clearance certificates the same day as the removal.
That end-to-end ownership means the person you negotiate with is the same one managing the job, which removes a common frustration with larger demolition contractors where handoffs cause delays or miscommunication. The asbestos removal methodology matters here too: multiple customers described watching the crew work sheet-by-sheet with controlled hosing rather than breaking material, which is the safer and compliant approach — a few reviewers specifically compared this favourably to other contractors they'd used. For homeowners facing pre-renovation asbestos uncertainty in older Sydney properties, the same-day quoting and fast turnaround (often the following week) makes them a practical first call.

Tarek and his team were amazing to deal with. Great communication, efficient and took great care to avoid asbestos contamination with our second-story bathroom strip-out and ceiling removal in several rooms. I highly recommend Mission Demolition.
We had Tarek from Mission Demolition come out today to remove our kitchen in preparation for a renovation. I am beyond thrilled with his workmanship. Tarek was professional, punctual and extremely generous with answering my many questions. He also left the site very clean and presentable. He was very efficient and took his time with some tricky parts that had intricate floor tiling details that we didn't want removed. I was quite nervous about this job because our floor tiles are only a few years old but Tarek's patience, knowledge and skill left me so happy with the outcome and even happier that we went with him to do this job. I would highly recommend Tarek and Mission Demolition!
I am incredibly impressed with the team at Mission demolition

About Mission demolition and asbestos pty ltd
Tarek leads Mission Demolition and Asbestos day-to-day and is the name that appears repeatedly across reviews — customers single him out for arriving on time to quote, managing SafeWork paperwork, and working through tricky details like preserving floor tiles during a kitchen strip-out while still hitting a tight schedule. The crew specialises in residential asbestos removal across Sydney: ceiling panels, garage cladding, and full-house re-cladding prep are the jobs that appear most often in customer feedback, and they work sheet-by-sheet with hosing rather than breaking material into fragments — a distinction several reviewers specifically called out after bad experiences elsewhere. Beyond asbestos, they handle full demolition of garages, backyard structures, and strip-out work inside homes ahead of renovations, and they've completed commercial and industrial projects as well. Clearance certificates are issued on the day of job completion, and SafeWork notifications are handled by the team rather than left to the homeowner — useful if you've never navigated that process before. Site cleanliness comes up unprompted in a large share of reviews: customers consistently note that all rubble and hazardous material is removed and the area is left presentable. They're particularly well-matched to homeowners renovating older Sydney properties where asbestos is an unconfirmed but likely complication, given their ability to quote on-site quickly and turn around the removal within days.
Best for: pre-renovation asbestos removal in older Sydney homes, full garage or backyard structure demolition with site clean-up included, and homeowners who need clearance certificates issued quickly to keep a renovation schedule on track.

Common questions about Mission demolition and asbestos pty ltd
What areas does Mission Demolition and Asbestos cover?+
The business is based in Guildford and operates across Sydney and surrounding suburbs. Their operator-provided details also note capability for projects elsewhere in Australia, though the bulk of reviewed jobs appear to be within the Sydney metro area. If you're outside Sydney proper, it's worth confirming availability and any travel costs when you request a quote.
Who will actually turn up to do the work?+
Tarek — the operator — is named directly in the majority of reviews and appears to handle both the initial site inspection and the job itself, often accompanied by a small crew. Customers regularly note that the person who quoted them is the same person managing the removal or demolition on the day, which reduces the risk of miscommunication between sales and execution.
Do they handle the SafeWork NSW paperwork for asbestos removal?+
Yes — multiple customers specifically mention that Tarek organised all required SafeWork NSW notifications as part of the service, rather than leaving that to the homeowner. For most residential owners unfamiliar with the regulatory requirements around licensed asbestos removal, this is a meaningful time-saver and reduces the risk of compliance gaps before your next trade steps on site.
How quickly can they turn a job around, and do they issue clearance certificates?+
Based on customer reviews, quoting often happens on the same day you make contact, with jobs scheduled within days to a week. Clearance certificates are issued on the day the removal is completed — one reviewer noted this allowed them to move forward immediately with re-cladding work. If you have a renovation contractor waiting on clearance, mention that timeline upfront when booking.
What do customers say about their pricing compared to other quotes?+
Pricing comes up frequently in reviews, with a large number of customers describing Mission Demolition as competitively priced after comparing multiple quotes. No reviews raise concerns about unexpected costs or bills exceeding the quote. That said, asbestos removal costs vary significantly based on quantity, accessibility, and disposal requirements — always confirm what's included in the quote (labour, disposal, SafeWork fees, clearance certificate) before signing off.
