★ PremiumThat said, the structural basics check out: GST-registered, incorporated as a company, and holding the appropriate licensing and insurance for licensed asbestos removal work in NSW. Asbestos removal is one of the higher-stakes trades to hire for — mistakes carry real health consequences — so before committing, ask specifically for their NSW asbestos removal licence number, proof of current insurance, and a written scope of work detailing disposal method and certification. If you can, request references from recent comparable jobs, particularly if your project involves significant demolition alongside the asbestos work.

Tarek and his team were amazing to deal with. Great communication, efficient and took great care to avoid asbestos contamination with our second-story bathroom strip-out and ceiling removal in several rooms. I highly recommend Mission Demolition.
We had Tarek from Mission Demolition come out today to remove our kitchen in preparation for a renovation. I am beyond thrilled with his workmanship. Tarek was professional, punctual and extremely generous with answering my many questions. He also left the site very clean and presentable. He was very efficient and took his time with some tricky parts that had intricate floor tiling details that we didn't want removed. I was quite nervous about this job because our floor tiles are only a few years old but Tarek's patience, knowledge and skill left me so happy with the outcome and even happier that we went with him to do this job. I would highly recommend Tarek and Mission Demolition!
I am incredibly impressed with the team at Mission demolition

About Mission demolition and asbestos pty ltd
Mission Demolition and Asbestos covers the full spectrum of demolition and asbestos removal work — from stripping out interiors and cutting concrete through to complete house and commercial building demolitions. Their asbestos specialisation spans both residential and commercial properties, with an emphasis on safe handling, compliant disposal, and environmentally responsible practices, which matters significantly given the strict NSW regulatory requirements around licensed asbestos removal. The company operates across Sydney and surrounding suburbs, positioning itself for projects ranging from single-room strip-outs to larger industrial demolition jobs. Their licensing and insurance credentials are in place, which is a non-negotiable baseline for any asbestos work — unlicensed removal carries serious health and legal risks for homeowners. While the operator lists around 15 years of active experience in the industry, the business entity registration data reflects approximately 6 years, so it's worth asking directly about the team's combined experience when requesting a quote. They're best suited to homeowners or property managers who need a single contractor to handle both the asbestos identification and removal and the broader demolition or site-clearing work, rather than coordinating multiple trades.
Best for: homeowners needing asbestos removal combined with full house demolition, commercial property managers requiring compliant asbestos strip-outs, and Sydney-based projects requiring a single contractor across hazardous material removal and site clearing.

What areas does Mission Demolition and Asbestos service?+
The business is based in Guildford, NSW and covers Sydney and surrounding suburbs. Their operator profile also notes they take on projects across Australia for larger or industrial-scale work. If you're outside the immediate Sydney metro area, it's worth contacting them directly to confirm whether your location falls within their standard service zone and whether travel costs apply.
Does Mission Demolition and Asbestos handle both the asbestos removal and the demolition in one job?+
Yes — this is one of their key points of difference. They offer asbestos removal, strip-out services, concrete cutting, and full building or house demolition under one contractor, which can simplify project coordination significantly. For homeowners doing a knockdown rebuild or major renovation, having a single licensed contractor manage hazardous material removal and the demolition itself reduces the handover risk between trades. Confirm the exact scope in writing when requesting your quote.
Are they licensed and insured for asbestos removal in NSW?+
The business states they are fully licensed and insured for asbestos removal across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Asbestos removal in NSW is heavily regulated — licensed removalists must follow strict handling, disposal, and air monitoring protocols. Before work begins, ask them to provide their NSW asbestos removal licence number and current certificate of insurance so you can independently verify both. This is standard practice for any reputable asbestos contractor.
Do they work on residential jobs, or mainly commercial and industrial projects?+
Mission Demolition and Asbestos explicitly covers all three sectors — residential, commercial, and industrial. Their services include house demolition and strip-outs alongside larger commercial and building demolition, so they're set up for jobs of varying scale. Residential customers in older Sydney homes dealing with asbestos-containing materials in fibro walls, roofing, or floor tiles would fall squarely within their scope.
What should I ask when getting a quote from them?+
Given there are no Google reviews available yet, it's worth doing a bit of extra due diligence at the quote stage. Ask for their NSW asbestos licence number and verify it through SafeWork NSW, request proof of current public liability and workers compensation insurance, and ask for a written scope that includes how materials will be disposed of and whether an air clearance certificate is provided post-removal. If your job involves both asbestos and demolition, confirm how they manage sequencing and site safety across both phases.
