Shepparton Antique Restorations
Customers describe specific, completed repairs — a lounge restored, six dining chairs refinished, with pickup and return handled for you.
That said, based on this small sample of recent reviews, the pattern that stands out is straightforward: customers describe specific, tangible outcomes (a repaired 3-seat lounge, six refinished dining chairs) and recommend the business without qualification. The pickup-and-return service flagged in one review is worth asking about directly if you have a large or fragile piece, since it removes a logistical hurdle that often puts people off furniture restoration. With 26 years of operation as a registered partnership, there's at least a track record of the business staying open — but four reviews is genuinely thin for a business of that age, so calling ahead to discuss your specific job and getting a clear quote before committing would be sensible.

About Shepparton Antique Restorations
Shepparton Antique Restorations sits in an interesting gap in the local market: though listed under furniture assembly and TV mounting, the work customers actually describe is hands-on repair and restoration — reupholstering multi-seat lounges, refinishing dining chairs, and returning pieces to usable condition rather than simply putting flat-pack furniture together. Running as a partnership with roughly 26 years of continuous operation behind it, this is a long-standing trade business rather than a generalist handyman outfit, and that longevity in a regional centre like Shepparton suggests a client base built largely on repeat work and word of mouth. The lounge repair job mentioned in reviews involved pickup and return delivery, meaning customers aren't necessarily expected to arrange their own transport for bulky or fragile pieces. The dining chair work — six chairs completed to the customer's satisfaction — points toward multi-piece upholstery or refinishing jobs being well within scope. No individual technicians are named in the available reviews, so it's not possible to map specific team members to particular specialties. Based on what reviews describe, this business appears best suited to homeowners with tired or damaged furniture worth saving rather than replacing, particularly larger upholstered pieces or sets of chairs that would be expensive to buy new.
Best for: repairing and restoring upholstered lounges, refinishing sets of dining chairs, and returning antique or older furniture pieces to usable condition.

What kinds of furniture does Shepparton Antique Restorations actually work on?+
Based on customer reviews, the business handles upholstered pieces like large multi-seat lounges and sets of dining chairs. The name suggests antique and older furniture is a focus, which typically means repair and restoration work rather than flat-pack assembly. If you have a specific piece in mind — particularly something older or damaged — it's worth calling them directly to confirm they take on that type of job.
Does Shepparton Antique Restorations offer pickup and delivery for furniture?+
One customer review specifically mentions that the business picked up their lounge and returned it once the repair was complete, which suggests this is at least sometimes offered for bulky pieces in the Shepparton area. Whether this applies to all jobs or just certain types isn't clear from the available reviews, so confirm pickup availability and any associated cost when you make contact.
How many reviews does Shepparton Antique Restorations have, and what do customers say?+
The business has 4 Google reviews in total — a small number given their roughly 26 years of operation. The reviews we were able to analyse are all positive, with customers specifically praising the repair of a large lounge and the completion of six dining chairs. The low review count means there's limited public feedback to draw on, so asking for references or examples of past work before committing to a larger job would be reasonable.
Is Shepparton Antique Restorations a registered business?+
Yes — the business operates as a registered partnership and is GST registered, meaning it meets the threshold for formal business registration and has been active long enough to require GST collection. This gives some baseline assurance that you're dealing with a legitimate trade operation rather than an informal sole operator.
Who is Shepparton Antique Restorations best suited for?+
Based on the work described in reviews, this business appears most suited to homeowners who have furniture worth repairing rather than replacing — particularly upholstered lounges, antique pieces, or sets of chairs that would be costly to buy new. It's less clearly positioned for standard flat-pack assembly or TV mounting, despite the platform category. If your job is restoration or repair-focused, this appears to be their core territory.
