CDB Distinctive Tiling
Neither review included written feedback, just a three and a four star rating, so there is no detail about workmanship, reliability, or the tiler's specific strengths. Given only three years in operation and a sole trader structure, treat this as a first look rather than a firm track record. Ask to see photos of recent tiling jobs and a written quote that spells out waterproofing, screeding, and waste removal. A short conversation about how they handle bathroom or wet area prep will tell you more than the reviews can.

About CDB Distinctive Tiling
A Wendouree tiling operation with a general contractor licence, so the scope can stretch well past simple splashbacks and floors. The Google category list points to broader job coordination, which can mean waterproofing, screeding, or pulling together the other trades around a wet area. It is a sole trader setup, so you are likely dealing directly with the decision maker rather than a rotating crew. There are only two Google reviews to go on, both fairly middle of the road, which leaves a lot unknown. That thin paper trail makes quotes, timelines, and examples of past work the things to chase before you commit. For a small bathroom or laundry in an older Ballarat home, that general contractor flexibility could be genuinely useful.
Best for smaller residential tiling jobs in Wendouree or nearby Ballarat suburbs, wet area prep work, and homeowners willing to judge a quote and portfolio over online reviews.

What type of tiling work does CDB Distinctive Tiling do?+
The business name and Google category point to residential wall and floor tiling across kitchens, bathrooms, and laundries. Their listing as a general contractor suggests they may also coordinate broader renovation work around wet areas. Confirm the exact scope when you request a quote.
Does CDB Distinctive Tiling cover all of Ballarat?+
The business is based in Wendouree, so nearby Ballarat suburbs are likely within easy reach. Reviews do not mention a specific service area. Phone them directly to confirm travel to your address and whether any callout or distance fee applies.
What do customer reviews say about CDB Distinctive Tiling's work?+
There are only two Google reviews, one three star and one four star, and neither includes written comments. That is too little detail to describe their workmanship or reliability from customer feedback alone. The best move is to ask for recent job photos and local references.
Is CDB Distinctive Tiling a one person business?+
Data shows a sole trader structure, so you will most likely be dealing directly with the tiler or owner throughout the job. That can mean clearer communication, but it can also affect scheduling on bigger projects. Ask about timeline and whether subcontractors are used before you book.
