Jet 'N' Drain Pty Ltd
Jake showed up the Friday before Christmas — and customers trusted him alone in their rental home.
The standout detail worth knowing: Jake shows up on short notice, including after hours and during the holiday period, and customers feel comfortable enough with him to trust him alone in their rental home. From these 3 reviews, the recurring word is 'trustworthy' — not flashy, just reliable and easy to deal with, which in plumbing is often what matters most. If you're a landlord or renter who needs a plumber who can fit in around tenant schedules and won't make a stressful situation worse, this outfit looks like a reasonable call — just ask upfront about current availability and whether Jake is the one doing the job.

About Jet 'N' Drain Pty Ltd
Jake is the named technician at Jet 'N' Drain, and across every review customers single him out for being polite, professional, and trustworthy — the kind of tradie you're comfortable having inside a rental property when the landlord isn't around. The business name itself hints at a drain and jetting focus, suggesting high-pressure drain clearing is likely a core offering alongside general residential plumbing repairs. Operating out of Kawungan for around 18 years, this is a locally rooted outfit with the longevity you'd expect from a tradie who's survived on word-of-mouth in a regional area. One reviewer called them the Friday before Christmas and got fitted in same-day — that after-hours and tight-window availability is directly confirmed by two separate reviews, making it a credible pattern rather than a fluke. As a GST-registered trust entity, Jet 'N' Drain is structured beyond a sole trader setup, which typically means invoicing and paperwork are handled properly — useful if you're managing a rental or need documentation for a landlord or insurance claim. They're a strong fit for renters, landlords managing properties, and anyone who needs a plumber to show up quickly and communicate clearly without drama.
Best for: urgent after-hours plumbing callouts, rental property repairs where tenant trust matters, and blocked drain or jetting work in the Kawungan and Hervey Bay area.

Does Jet 'N' Drain do after-hours or emergency callouts?+
Yes — this is directly confirmed by customers. One review specifically mentions 'amazing service after hours,' and another describes calling on the Friday before Christmas and being fitted in same-day. If you're dealing with an urgent plumbing issue outside business hours, Jet 'N' Drain appears set up to respond. It's worth calling ahead to confirm current availability for your specific situation.
Who actually shows up to do the work — is it the owner?+
Reviews name Jake as the technician who attends jobs, and customers have specifically praised him for being polite, professional, and trustworthy. One reviewer noted he came to their rental property and they were 'very happy with his service.' Whether Jake personally attends all jobs isn't confirmed in the reviews, so if that matters to you, ask when you book.
Is Jet 'N' Drain suitable for rental property plumbing?+
Based on available reviews, yes — one customer explicitly noted the work was done at a rental property and highlighted Jake's trustworthiness as a key factor. For landlords and property managers who need a plumber their tenants can let in without supervision, that's a meaningful data point. The business is also GST-registered and structured as a trust entity, so it can issue proper tax invoices for record-keeping.
What areas does Jet 'N' Drain service?+
The business is based in Kawungan, QLD, which sits in the Fraser Coast region near Hervey Bay. Reviews don't specify exact service boundaries, so if you're outside Kawungan or the broader Hervey Bay area, it's worth calling to confirm whether they cover your location before booking.
What types of plumbing work does Jet 'N' Drain handle?+
The business name references jetting and drain work, pointing to high-pressure drain clearing and blocked drain services as likely core specialties. Customer reviews mention general plumbing repairs at residential properties. With around 18 years in operation, they're likely across a broad range of residential plumbing needs — but reviews don't mention specific services like hot water systems or gas fitting, so confirm scope directly if your job is outside standard drain and pipe work.
